Unlimited Play – Universally Accessible Playgrounds

About Treehouse Community Playground

Residents of Antioch, Illinois, and the surrounding towns are partnering with Unlimited Play to build the first inclusive playground for the community.

Play is critical for a child’s development. It builds imagination, enhances independence, promotes physical activity, fosters healthy brain development and eases anxiety. The playground will enable all children — regardless of their abilities — to play together, side by side. It will also allow parents and caregivers with disabilities to play alongside their children.

The Treehouse Community Playground is designed to create a sense of community where all children feel nurtured, valued, encouraged and respected. Research shows that communities thrive when their children thrive.

Join us in the efforts to build this accessible community playground through a gift. Your support will ensure hundreds of families and children with disabilities will discover inclusion, acceptance and equality in the community.

This project has been spearheaded by the members of NorthBridge Church in Antioch, IL, who have already raised nearly $200,000.

With gratitude,

The Treehouse Community Playground Committee
